The beautiful solitary site of the South Common in Lincoln holds a much darker past. Home to the foundations of the Hospital of the Holy Innocents, this site recalls times of isolation, treatment and judgement. As part of an Exploration of the history of Lincoln, we aim to bring aspects of this mysterious site to the LPAC.
Through a durational performance we aim to explore how isolation can effect one’s mind and body. Would you help to cure a loved one if they were dying or would you leave them to surfer on their own?
We ask you to come and prepare to be involved in the treatment of the ill. Watch how a little human kindness can effect their mood and admire their desire to better themselves through cleansing and spiritual redemption.
